JOCR Acknowledges the Reviewers

Journal of Orthopaedic Case is the First International Journal that has started the practice of acknowledging and publishing the names of its reviewers form the First issue itself. We believe that a successful Journal stands on four Pillars, Editorial board, Authors, Reviewers and Readers. As convention and in view of blinded peer review, reviewers remained unsung heroes with no acknowledgment in print issues of any journal. JOCR has maintained the policy of acknowledging our reviewers in every issue and will continue to do so in future. We believe this will have no effect on the blinded peer review procedure, due to sheer numbers of reviewers listed with us (about 400) and in any case multiple reviewers are involved in every manuscript in review. Since JOCR has started printing the reviewers acknowledgment, other journals have also started acknowledging the reviewers and we endorse their move for respecting the work of reviewers. Also this will envoke confidence among the authors and readers that the articles published in JOCR undergo highest quality of peer review.
