Best Reviewers Award For Oct-Dec 2013

I regard JOCR as a valuable tool to share rare experiences. Medical treatment today is dominated by guidelines and SOPs, but especially in trauma surgery we are faced with a number of challenging cases which are not always covered by standard algorithms. Case reports therefore are very instructive especially for younger surgeons. Personally I regularly include JOCR-cases into my postgraduate educational program.

Best Reviewers Award For Oct-Dec 2013

I liked JOCR’s decision to recognize the reviewers, publish their names and photos on their website and then send us e-certificate. For somebody living a life-incognito, being selected as the best Reviewer for 2013, is a happy moment. I am great full to JOCR editor, coordinator of editorial board and the readers, for giving me the opportunity to become the best reviewer. The cases posted to us were quite interesting ones. I also liked sharing my space with other reviewer’s on the JOCR list, whom I have never seen. I remember them too, on this occasion for sharing the virtual space with me.
