Many thanks for selecting my article as the best article of 2015.
JOCR has given me a platform where I can boldly comment about my publications and I am very please and thankful to JOCR to accept my articles and considering worth for publication.
It’s been a journey of 2 long yrs with JOCR with many publications. Being indexed I consider it to be the best journal in terms of their reciprocality and their management part.
Article writing is an art…It was new for me also but subsequently started thinking about what I wanted to make my readers understand and what message I want to bring out from them…If u can answer these two questions through Your article it’s gonna be definitely a good article.
Once again thanks a lot team JOCR..I hope many more to come my way from this journal

It is our honor to have our work been selected as one of the best article of the journal.
We do believe that a good case report also brings important information for the readers to improve the quality of management for their patient.
Journal of Orthopaedic case reports provide a good platform for the Orthopaedic surgeon to share their experience in managing difficult cases.

We don’t have any trick to write a good case report. But we think that every case report should bring out a clear message that bridge the gap of current orthopaedic knowledge and help the readers to better understand the topic.

JOCR is doing a great job because it allows junior residents to hone their skills in writing for a medical publication. Writing a good case report is the first baby step takrn for writing a scintific paperin medical journals. All residents have to write a thesis for their post graduate degree and these case reports allow them to practice these skills. As a DNB teacher i routinely encounter poor writing and communication skills amongst junior residents. JOCR allows them a great platform to hone their skills.
It is a great effort of JOCR team to select the worth article for publication to spread the knowledge of Orthopaedics to be utilized for the benefit of mankind. we are thankful for the great effort by the capable team of JOCR.
– JOCR being an international index journal the authors are getting the deserved value for their work.
To write a good case report you need to
1. have all the data like Xr-rays and MRIs well documented
2. Read all references before you start writing
3. once it is written show it to at least 2 teachers and get it corrected.
4. Good presentation which is necessarily brief with complete discussion of the concerned matter in simple English without any grammatical mistakes.
5. submit only after these 4 things so that it does not get rejected or sent back for modifications.
